Over the 40 years of its existence the company has developed its logo to reflect changing trends in typestyles. The new D&K Jupiter B2 laminator

We have recently acquired the NEW DigiFold 5000P, a high-speed crease & fold and JDF ready finishing tool. This supports our D&K Jupiter B2 laminator, a machine which will laminate a sheet up to 540x740mm using a sealed oil filled roller which ensures an even temperature over the entire area. Face Creative have improved their tabbing capabilities by purchasing a Scott Round-cornered Pro-tab.

Face Creative Services have recently commissioned a new large format printer. The 60 inch Canon IPF7000 uses 12 colour pigmented ink technology to achieve a colour gamut which should satisfy everybody's requirements.

The new Spinemaster square-back saddle stitch machine adds a look of professionalism to a normal stitched brochure. This option is available at a small additional charge and is listed separately on our quotations.

In the pressroom we have added print protectors to both our Xeikon 5000's, enabling the speedy finishing of light stocks.

Our Xeikon 5000 (Chromapress) has been upgraded and now uses a smaller FA granule toner which sits flatter on the sheet after fusing. This upgrade has also improved the colour gamut available from the machine. Don't forget that the Xeikon 5000 is still the only A2+ digital printer on the market. Face Creative have been using this technology successfully since 1996, allowing us to create a variety of large format products, 6-pp A4 gatefolds, A2 posters A3 landscape brochure and even 12 pp A4 Concertina folded documents.

Green Credentials

FSC Chain of Custody and PEFC accreditation has been awarded to Face Creative Services in 2009. We now use exclusively Premier Papers FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) papers on our Xeikon and Indigo presses. Also available are recycled materials including Greencoat for the Indigo and Cyclustec for the Xekon, these papers come in a variety of weights. Although Digital Printing is an efficient way of reducing wastage.
Face Creative Services will be endeavouring to continue to reduce its carbon footprint throughout 2009. Face Creative use environmentally friendly chlorine-free, virgin paper (FSC) which creates a even smaller carbon footprint than recycled stock whenever possible.
All paper waste is removed from the premises by Regency Recycling.

Our industrial waste oil is removed by Safety Kleen Industrial Services. Please go to their website for further details of the services offered at safety-klean.co.uk. Recyclable waste paper is dealt with by Grosvenor Waste Management which remove it from our premises on a weekly basis.
