Digital printing at Face Creative

With the installation of two Xeikon A2+ web-fed digital presses working alongside our two SRA3 HP Indigo 3050s, flexibility is at an optimum. Also always at hand in our in-house finishing department, which can produce 24 hours a day, five and a half days a week. We are now able to offer truly economical, litho quality short run, four colour printing, with an unlimited variable picture and data facility.

Variable data - Personalisation of individual documents

Variable data is probably one of the biggest advantages of digital printing, enabling personalisation of both text and images on each individual document.Personalisation is well known to increase response rates; imagine the response to a mailing where the recipient’s own portrait, house, office or family are pictured on the front cover or throughout the document! This can now be done economically to tight deadlines whilst still maintaining very high quality standards.

The Presses

The Xeikon is Web fed, allowing print sizes of up to 470 mm deep by 9 metres in length. A wide selection of stock is available in matt, silk, gloss, self-adhesive and acetate, from 100-350gsm and more becoming available all the time.

The Indigo is Sheet fed utilising SRA3 size sheets which allows a much greater range of printable substrates than the Xeikon, and paper weights up to 350gsm. This system also has a six colour facility, enabling us to match over 90% of Pantone colours.
